U.S. Steamer "Currituck"

In compliance with the request of
Samuel Magan Exc Lieut Comdr. &c &c I have
Examined the Log Book of the U.S. Str. Currituck
and find on the 28th of Oct. 1862 there were (10)
ten tons of Coal received on board the Currituck
from Steamer Union of Philadelphia. I also find
by the Currituck Log on the 28th Octr. that the
Dragon received a Small quantity from the Same
Steamer, weight unknown. Inclosed please find
receipt from Senior Engineer Mr A Chuse
