Went on a Company drill to day in the forenoon
Wrote some in the afternoon.
A squad was detailed from this regiment for guard
in the city. Rosecranz's victory is confirmed
to-night for which God be thanked. Went in with
George to see Dr. Whitney this evening and staid
till roll call
