1862 April 7 Camp Hayes, Raleigh, Va.

Raleigh, April 7th, 1862.
The fine weather still continues, with
but slight intermission. . The weather
has been a subject of general comment
all winter, because of its mildness.
Look out for “squally” times before
many weeks.
