Tuesday 28 [sic]--Sewed all morning--& at night attended the
young ladies concert--Money for the NC Gunboat fund--
They performed very well--& no doubt made over a hun
dred dollars as the Chapel was crowded--We all went
from the Hotel 9 ladies & 2 gentlemen--Tom & Mr Davis
