The following signals
are published for the information of the
Generals Commanding Corps, & Brigades,
& commanders of Regiments,& the comman-
ders of detached Companies of Artillery,
Infantry, & Cavalry, and not to be
made known to the other officers, non-
commissioned officers or privates of the
different companies--:
Night Signals:
1.---Alarms on left, indicated by
Two rockets, rapid succession--
2.---Alarms in Centre, indicated by
Three rockets, rapid succession--
3.---Alarms on right, indicated by
Three rockets, with intervals of about
one or two minutes--
4.---Beat "long roll," indicated by
Five rockets, rapid succession

5.---To disperse, indicated by
One rocket after any alarm--
For Day signals substitute
Cannon--
III All sentinels or guards will
be immediately instructed to report, hence-
forth all rockets that may be seen at
night, in the direction of these Head
Quarters, or cannon heard in the day-
time, in that neighborhood---
