Your acceptable note by Mr Fox is re
cieved--You seem to mistake the purpose
with which i sent the Coat--It was merely
intended to Keep you warm & dry
'til I can have one made for you of
the particular Kind you need:

There is nothing of much interest pass-
ing here--Your Ma & the children are
at The North River--Nothing late from Wal
ter--Friends generally well---The sick at
Hospital improving generally--Some poor fellows
dying daily!!

I hope to hear from you tonight. Remem-
