Played for Guard Mounting
Went down to the mill
with flour. Have been
there three times to day
Have been taking some
interest in the affairs

Took a new recruit
up to Col Hays and had
him sworn in to the
service. Benton Grimes
& Stewart came in to-
day brought letters from
Father also papers
Have written letter to
Father
Stormy snowing some
