On guard again on the third
relief which goes on at six.
Staid round looking at the artillery
regiment and reading &c. I went on at
six and staid till ten. a negro came
out and gave me some tea and warm
biscuit. Enjoyed a very pleasant time on
my beat. Had soft bread for dinner
