March 15
This forenoon Phineas and George
and I went out and into two or
three houses to see what we could, but they had
been pretty thoroughly ransacked. We then
went back, and then George and I went with
the Capt. to see another house and I got a
violin book and some other little things there.
In the afternoon wrote home. Played back-
gammon with Charlie Hall this evening.
