Monday, Oct. 6, 1862

The members of Synod generally

left this morning. Large crowds 

were attracted to the meetings. Troops 

(conscripts + soldiers from Hospitals)

have continued to pass by Staunton 

down the Valley. No late news of 

special interest. Quite unwell 

to- day.
