Same as usual this forenoon, Inspect
tion this afternoon. Finished reading "Pride
and Prejudice" a book which I got. Got news from an
expedition which went from here Saturday, that they
had a skirmish and we also heard cannon-
ading this noon, but dont know what it was. May God
protect our friends and grant them the
victory if consistent with His will.
