[fromthe diary of Samuel Johnson of the 1st Massachusetts Independent Light Battery]
June 15th

noon a flag of truce accompanied by Gen
Franklin, passed out to the rebel lines, to
effect a change of prisoners. Our whole line
is under arms.. During the afternoon had a
severe thunder shower.
