Tom Williams came to breakfast--All
a mistake, no Yankees in Town
Spent an idle an[d] unprofitable
day--thoughts will come on worldly
things--When will I learn to be
an humble follower of the cross
leaving all things in the hand of
God casting all cares upon Him who
careth for us
Willie Tompkin[?] came by to see Beale
& consented to stay
