Saturday – February 15th 1862
Rain, hail & sleet all day –
Spend the day in doors – reading
& playing chess – Rec’d no letters
today - Frank Hall & Ames & [Frank Hall, Co. B., 1st. La Bn.]
Poindexter returned today – Detailed [F. W. Ames & J. G. Poindexter]
three men today to go to Kings
Mill on the Canal boat for
provisions – Wrote a letter to
Kate tonight – Went to bed
at Eleven o’clock – Harry on
Guard tonight – It snowed
tonight at eleven o’c
