Saturday 12 Was taken early this mor
ning with pain in the bowels
--suffered much during the day
but had not time to lie keep my
bed--Charles & Fanny dined with
us but I did not go to the table
Mr. Jellis[?] improving--hopes to [begin
his post?] Monday.
