June 10 Today was rainy, disagreeable and cold. No comfort
to be found anywhere but in bed, where I enjoyed it
nearly the entire day reading & sleeping. Retired
about tattoo realising the momentous fact
that an immense amount of sleep can be
borne in Camp life.
