order to enter the Army as a volunteer.

withdraw from the University in order
to volunteer int he Albemarle Rifles 19th Reg
23 Gave Mr Wm. M. Perkins leave to
withdraw from the University with the
view of joining Capt Taylor Martin's
company of Volunteers--
