Practiced this
morning after which
I went up to the
27th Regiment to have a
pair of slippers mad
from the sheep skin
I found at Fayetteville
are to get them tomor-
-row Practiced again
this afternoon
Played as usual this
evening
Clear mostly pleasant
day The time passed
and I accomplished little
it seems that all
[?] time to fly on
its [?] wings
we all long to hear
decisive news from
Richmond & Corinth
