Very warm to-day.  Had an inspec
tion this forenoon, and dress
parade to-night, and then had services
at the chaplains tent.  Read the Bible and
a book called "Lessons from the great Biograph[ies]
Had quite a talk with Thompson concerning
religion.  There was a mail come in tonight
Have felt quite trustful in God to-day.
