I wrote compelling me to
go to Richmond next
Friday. I must therefore
forego the great pleasure
of seeing you as I pro-
-posed. & as both of
my sons will soon leave
for the wars, I can not
say when I can be at Bre-
-mo. If you should come
to Belmeade let me know, or
go to Richond. My Heart
