I Respectfully beg leave to State that
Frederick du Barry Shiped[sic] as Seaman in the
U.S. Navy June 20th 1861 and appointed
Yeoman Nov 22d 1862, But up to this date
he has not been paid off for his services as
Seaman, And has only received twenty
dollars for his Services from Jone 20th 1861
up to this date. And as the Paymaster
is absent from the vessel I refer the case
to you, I also State that Chas H Thomas
time expires on the 3rd of Jan 1863
