[from the diary of Jesse Calvin Spaulding, Co. F, 25th Massachusetts]
Rather cold looks like snow.
I received two papers this morning
one from Henry Russell containing Summers
speech which I read aloud the Journal
the other was a Worcester Transcript from
whom I dont know. We had an excellent
discourse this afternoon by the chaplain
on setting our affections on things abov. Col. 3:2
