1862 February 22

Saturday Febr’y 22d 1862
Rain again last night & all day –
Did not get up till 9 o’c today –
After breakfast went to the p’office &
to the Dispensatory – got Ames a
bottle of brandy – returned to Miss
Galt & took a nap before dinner –
After dinner Harris[,] Ross & I
walked in to camp through rain
& mud – a pretty bad walk –
got soaking wet –
Returned at ten o’clock –
